Tomato is a fruit but it is considered as vegetable it is green in colour after repining its colour changes to red. It is citric in taste. Tomato is used in vegetable to make them tasty. It is also used in salad, soup, chutney, ketchup etc.
Tomatoes are good source of fibre, vitamin c,k1,b9 and potassium . the main plant compound in tomato are lycopene, beta carotene, naringenin , chlorogenic acid.
